How to look your best in photos?

Every time we go to a new place, the first thing that we wanted to do is to take pictures. Photo shooting helps us to preserve memories that will last long. Although, not all pictures looks good because not all people are born photogenic. But you can improve yourself for better image results. Want to look good on photos? Here are some tips:

* Look natural

Always remember that anything exaggerated is too much and doesn't look natural on pictures. Instead it will only make you look stiff. Remember, the more comfortable and relax you appear, the better the photo will turn out.

* Good posture

Correct body posture is very essential during picture taking for it will give you that smart looking appeal. Never slouch and avoid too much leaning and too backward. Just relax your shoulders and straighten your body but breath normally.

* Determine your best angle

Avoid facing the camera directly as in frontal shot. Instead, it is much better if you angled your body slightly to the right or left depending on your best angle. This is also good trick if you wish to hide some blemishes. Just make sure that at least three-fourths of your face is shown on picture.

* Show your perfect smile

To make your smile more perfect, try to smile with your eyes for it is a reflection of happiness. For people who are gifted with nice dentures, show them off with your smile but don't exaggerate to avoid looking weird.

When you smile, it is better if you say the word "Wednesday" for more natural looking smile. The word "cheese" which is the most common suggestion is observed to be stiff. Better also to think of happy thought so you don't need to force a smile. Instead, it will come out naturally.

* Enhance your beauty

Eliminate the oily look on pictures by trying to keep the shine down along your facial t-zone nose, below the eyes and forehead. For women, use make-up if necessary but apply the one that is appropriate for your attire. It is suggested that you apply light shades for eyes and heavy on lips. Avoid using more shimmer on face for it will only give you a wider look. It is suggested that bronze shimmer be applied on neck and not on face. Instead, use matte bronzer on the contour of your face for more dazzling picture shot.

* Get rid of negative effects

Camera must be situated slightly upward to avoid the double chin effect. You can also lift slightly your neck to improve facial outline and helps you improve wrinkles and flabby skin. Looking slightly above the camera will help lessen the "red eye" effect. Proper lights are also necessary. Consult your camera manuals for appropriate lights to use to get rid of unwanted shadows.
